Joanie Brosseau-Beyette
Is one of the co-creators and founders of the BDTA Kids Kabaret and Academy. Working with children and young adults in creative and theatrical ways is a passion of Joanie's.

Since the inception of BDTA, Joanie has been instrumental in all areas, including performing, directing, choreographing, staffing, curriculum writing, script writing, and administrative duties. Building this program is very near and dear to her heart, and she experiences joy everytime a child says "I can!"

Scott Beyette
Is one of the founding directors of BDTA. A native of Colorado, Scott received a BFA in musical theater from Loretto Heights College of Denver in 1987 and started working as a professional performer immediately after graduating. In 1990 Scott began working at Boulder's Dinner Theater and to date has performed in over 60 productions and directed and/or choreographed over 30.

He has been recognized for his work with several nominations and awards by the Denver theatrical critics. In 2004 Scott, and his wife Joanie, with the encouragement of new BDT owners Gene and Judy Bolles started the BDTA to bring live theater and theater education to the Boulder area kids. He is proud to be a part of such and amazing program performed and taught exclusively by local professionals.
